South Florida Sports League is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization incorporated under the laws and regulations of the State of Florida. Govern by an all volunteer board of directors our organization seeks to promote a healthy life style through programs for all ages, genders, race, and nationality. But, more important for our biggest resource in South Florida The FAMILIES of this community! South Florida Sports League (SFSL) is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization that has enjoyed a significant growth within the last three years. SFSL launched three programs since our inception that have grown tremendously. Our high school basketball league has 48 teams from Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. Our league runs from March through August. We found this is a time when coaches need a sound program to maintain their players’ focus throughout the entire year, not just during the season. In three short years over 1600 players have gone through our program with great success. Our adult recreation
programs have also enjoyed tremendous growth. We grew from nine teams
in 2004 to 62 teams in flag football. We grew from five teams to 24
teams in volleyball. The anticipated continuing growth of our adult
division will allow SFSL to expand upon its main vision:
“Helping the Family with the biggest game of all, LIFE”.
