Minimum requirements: High school diploma required, (Some college a plus.) One year experience in dealing with the public. Very good communication skills / written and verbal (spanish is a plus but not required). Also required six month experience as a cashier or in a capacity of dealing with fees. Applicant will be working in the an out door environment.

Position Duties: Dealing with members of SFSL. Handling all fees transaction of all events.

Position Duties: Interpreting the rules of SFSL sports events. Always wear proper uniform and have proper equipment to all events. Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all time.

CHEERLEADER Commissioner

Manages: All volunteer coaches for each Cheerleading squad.

Minimum requirements:

High school diploma required, (Some college a plus.) Must have 1 year of running a cheer and/or dance program. Must have at least 3 years of cheerleading and/or Dance program experenace. One year experience in dealing with the public. Very good communication skills / written and verbal (spanish is a plus but not required).


Overview of Responsibilities and Duties:
Cheerleader Commissioner will be responsible for all aspects of SFSL Cheerleading Program including: budget, planning, and fundraising, coordination of volunteers, field allocation, daily operation, and completion of the program that they are in charge of. Cheerleader Commissioner is responsible for enforcing all policies and procedures, approved or amended by the Executive Director.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Cheerleader Commissioner will recruit and recommend to the executive director the best volunteer coaches available for their seasonal sports program.
  • Planning, coordinating, implementing and developing with the parents: Fundraising, special events, an individual giving program for the Cheerleading program.
  • Cheerleading Commissioner Program budget development and financial management.
  • At the end of the season, Plan and give a proposed Cheerleading program’s budget for next year’s season. Commissioners will submit an inventory of equipment with their Proposed Budget.
  • Representing SFSL in meetings and at all public events regarding (his or hers) Cheerleading program.
  • Recommend to executive director Hiring, supervising, evaluating, and—if necessary—firing volunteer staff personnel.
  • Administering approved personnel policies regarding all volunteer staff for the Cheerleading program.
  • Cheerleader Commissioner will provide staffing at a “table” during (his or hers) Cheerleading program registration period.
  • Cheerleader Commissioner will allow no child to try-out, practice, or play until the child is completely registered with all forms signed and paid. To also ensure that no child is considered registered until the Registrar has processed the complete registration form or on-line registration is completed.
  • Cheerleading Commissioners is required to monitor the website for late registrations.
  • Cheerleader commissioner will also be responsible for maintaining an inventory of all equipment and uniforms used by their sports program. To recover all of (his or hers) programs equipment at the end of the season. To ensure equipment that is unsafe or worn out be removed from inventory and a notation made regarding disposition.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating marketing strategy and materials.
  • Give suggestions to executive director on the planning, implementing, and evaluation on the future course of the Cheerleading program.
  • Promote,Expand and increase the enrollment of children in the Cheerleading program.
