Welcome to our newest program: The South Miami Panthers Youth
Tackle Football and
Cheerleading Program a division of South Florida Sports
League, a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization that promotes a healthy
and fun way for boys and girls ages 5 to 13 from all walks
of life to participate in a positive environment.
The
South Miami Panthers play in the Miami Extreme Youth Football
& Cheerleading
League. This is the biggest league in Miami-Dade County
with twenty teams participating in Miami-Dade, Broward, Collier
County. SFSL and the South Miami Panthers
are proud to be part of this great organization.

SFSL's mission statement is:
Helping our youth with the biggest game of all, LIFE!
Our vision is for a child's ENJOYMENT
of the game; this is what's important to the children!
When the game ceases to be fun, it ceases to be a game. We believe
in the competition of the game, but without the undue stress placed
on winning. We work very hard on the participation, teaching the
basic fundamentals of the game and trying your best. Win or Lose,
SFSL places it's focus on improving the skill levels of each child.
Once that's achieved, our next focus is to incorporate our
"seven keys to succeed in Life" principles:
1.
Trustworthiness
2. Respect
3. Responsibility
4. Fairness
5. Caring
6. Good Citizenship
7. Education
The highest potential
of sports is achieved when competition reflects these "seven
values of character."
